I am a developer-turned-designer with a passion for problem-solving through both code and design. Currently, I am employed as a UX Designer at Guidewire Software, where I focus on creating intuitive dashboards and visualizations to support the diverse personas involved in the insurance policy-writing process. My role involves leveraging user experience principles to design solutions that enhance clarity, efficiency, and effectiveness for users navigating complex insurance workflows.
During my time as a developer, I learned to empathize and create tools that would ease the life of my fellow engineers while working in an engineering productivity team. The nature of my role made me wonder how interesting it would be to create tools and services for a larger audience. My work experience kindled an interest in the field of HCI and motivated me to pursue my masters.

I was very impressed with the quality of her work, as well as her willingness to adapt to new information and refine designs based on feedback from stakeholders and developers. She demonstrated a fantastic set of design skills throughout the process, from initial requirements gathering through design execution and development support. She spearheaded an internal research project to get answers in service of a stronger design vision on her project, independently moderating interviews with representative end users and presenting a strong analysis.
